Custom Layout Tutorial.

Let us Help you create a Graphical Layout for a Building using the Custom Layout Option.

 

bullet

Create a Building with Width as 40, Length 160, Purlin Spacings as 8@5, Front Bay Spacings as 3@5, 5@10, 6@5, 5@10,3@5 and Back Bay Spacing as 16@10.

bullet Go to the Layout screen of the Building Wizard  You will see something similar to the following image.

bullet Click the Graphical Layout button from the top of the screen above. You will a screen similar to the screen that follows.

bullet Select the 10X25 option  from the Layout Menu of the Graphical Layout Screen as shown in this figure.
bullet Create 16 Stalls of size 10 X 25 on the upper half exactly on the grid lines as shown in the figure that follows.

bullet Once you see the screen as above, select the 5X15 option from the Layout Menu of the Graphical Layout Screen.
bullet Create 12 Stalls of size 5 X 15 on the lower half exactly on the grid lines as shown in the figure below.

bullet Once you see the screen as above, select the 10X15 option from the Layout Menu of the Graphical Layout Screen.
bullet Create 10 Stalls of size 10 X 15 on the lower half exactly on the grid lines as shown in the figure that follows.

bullet Thus the custom Layout has been created. If the user wants to manipulate (Add, Delete) any stalls from this Layout, he/she can do so using the toolbar buttons with the stall size shown on them or by selecting a stall and pressing the Delete button on the Keyboard.
bullet When finished user has to exit from the Graphical Layout screen using the button from the toolbar or simply close the window. Please do not forget to to save the Layout when the message appears "Do you want to save the Layout ?".
bullet Upon this the user will see the created Layout in the Layout screen of the Building Wizard.

bullet User can then again go to the Graphical Layout screen if he/she wants any more changes or user can also do it manually using the Next screen in the Building wizard called the Stalls Layout screen in which user has to enter the data manually.
